1. The Governor of Enugu State His Excellency, Rt.Hon Dr Ifeanyi Uguanyi has applauded the Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association ( NAOWA) for creating a conducive and stable homefront for Nigerian Army Officers while they carry out their constitutional role of safeguarding the territorial integrity of Nigeria
2. He made this applaud when the NAOWA President, Mrs Salamatu Faruk Yahaya paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House on 3 August 2022.
3. Governor Ugwuanyi commended the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya for his leadership style and expressed optimism in the Nigerian Army abilities amidst the many challenges confronting our nation.
5. In her remarks, the NAOWA President, Mrs Salamatu F Yahaya appreciated the Governor for his humanitarian initiatives and projects for the wellbeing of all and sundry in Enugu state
6. The NAOWA President stated that, she is in Enugu to commission projects initiated and completed by the Chairperson NAOWA 8 Dividion Chapter, Mrs Maria Abiofun Lagbaja. She said, the visit to the Governor is a mark of respect to him as the Chief Security Officer of the state.
7. Highpoint of the visit was the signing of visitor’s book, presentation of souvenirs and group photographs.
