THE NAOWA COLLEGE ASOKORO, A BEACON OF ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT — NAOWA PRESIDENT

The President of the Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA), Mrs. Mernan Femi Oluyede has reaffirmed that the NAOWA College, Asokoro, Abuja, will continue to stand tall as a beacon of academic excellence and character development.

The NAOWA President made this assertion while speaking at the College’s Speech, Prize Giving, and Graduation Ceremony, which took place recently at the Mrs. Alero Azazi Event Centre, Asokoro, Abuja.

Mrs. Oluyede who was represented by Mrs. Maryam Abdussalam, wife of the Chief of Special Services and Programmes (Army), Major General JH Abdussalam, commended the graduating students for their dedication and achievements.

She urged them to approach the next phase of their educational journey holding firmly to the College’s core values of hard work, integrity, respect, and kindness, noting that these virtues would guide them through the challenges and opportunities ahead.

The NAOWA President described the graduation as a significant milestone, marking the culmination of years of hard work, late-night study sessions, and determination. She expressed optimism that this achievement would be the foundation for even greater success in the future.

Mrs. Oluyede also extended heartfelt appreciation to the NAOWA Education Committee, led by Mrs. Nafeesat Bisola Dada, and to the Director of the College, Major HR Otitolaiye, for their unwavering guidance and exceptional dedication to the students’ growth and development.

Highlights of the Ceremony were a colourful procession of the graduands, a captivating dance drama, a valedictory speech by the outgoing prefects, the unveiling of the College yearbook, the delivery of the graduation lecture, the presentation of awards and souvenirs, the cutting of the graduation cake, and group photographs.
